Managing Partner Daniel Astaire has been featured in The Lawyer’s Top 20 Cases of 2025, acting for PPE Medpro in defence of a claim brought the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, alongside Managing Associate John-Joseph Tyldesley and Senior Associate Sophie Adams.

The case concerns whether the personal protective equipment (PPE) supplied by Medpro during the Covid-19 pandemic was sterile and whether it complied with the requirements of the contract at the time of the emergency. Trial is scheduled for June 2025.

Littleton Chambers’ Charles Samek KC and Ashley Cukier have been instructed by Grosvenor as counsel in the case.
