Senior Associate Sophie Adams has been noted by The Lawyer as one of the key associates involved in their Top 20 Cases of 2025, in relation to the firm’s representation of PPE Medpro in defence of the claim brought against it by the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care.

Speaking with The Lawyer, Sophie explained that the case comes at “an important juncture in my career, having returned from maternity leave and while starting to take steps to prepare to advance to partnership within the next five years.”

The case is listed to be heard later this year, in which the Government is seeking £120m from PPE Medpro, relating to the PPE supplied to the Government during the Covid-19 pandemic.
